The default mode. Navigate conversations and jump into other modes.

Compose mode

Active when replying to a conversation.

Key	Action
Enter	Send message
Esc	Cancel and return to browse

Search mode

Active when filtering the conversation list.

Key	Action
Type	Filter conversations by name, slug, or headline
Enter	Select the first match
Esc	Clear search and return to browse

Reaction picker

Active when reacting to a message with x.

1–6	Quick-pick a default emoji
Type	Search all emojis by name
Arrow keys	Navigate the emoji grid
Enter	Select highlighted emoji
Esc	Clear search, or cancel picker

Command palette

Active after pressing :.
