1. What Allman is

Allman is a CLI and TUI that connects to your own LinkedIn account using your own browser session, and stores message data locally on your own machine. It is published by Tarka Ventures, Inc.

2. Software license

The Allman CLI and TUI are licensed under the MIT license, with a NOTICE that scopes the grant. The MIT license covers original code authored by Tarka. It does not, and cannot, grant rights in:

Full text: see LICENSE and NOTICE distributed with the software.

3. Your responsibility when using Allman

Allman accesses your LinkedIn account on your behalf using your own credentials. Your use of LinkedIn through Allman is governed by your own contract with LinkedIn — the LinkedIn User Agreement. You are responsible for compliance with that agreement, applicable rate limits, and all relevant law. If LinkedIn restricts your account, that is between you and LinkedIn.

Allman is intended for managing your own inbox. It is not a cold-outbound or spam tool. See the RESPONSIBLE_USE.md file shipped with the software for guidance.
